He obtained his LL.B(Hons) Degree in 1990 from Obafemi Awolowo University and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1991. He was an intern at Gani Fawehinmi Chambers and was a Youth Corp Attorney with Chevron Nigeria Limited. He obtained his LL.M Degree with Distinction from the University of Cumbria, United Kingdom and now a Doctoral student at the University of Leicester, United Kingdom.
He is a widely travelled and a well-rounded lawyer who has attended various international seminars and trainings on different areas of law. He is a member of the International Bar Association and Nigerian Bar Association amongst several other bodies.
He has appeared in all superior courts of record in Nigeria and has written several articles in various journals.
