She graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University with LL.B (Hons) Degree in 1990 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1991. She is alumnus of University of Leicester, where she obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.
She began her law career with Femi Atoyebi and Co., where she was exposed to maritime law practice before joining Associated Discount House Limited in 1995 where she served as Funds Manager, Company Secretary and Head, Asset Trading and Inter-mediation.
She joined the firm in 2005 bringing on board her rich experience in corporate administration and finance. She is an associate of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and International Bar Association.
